Autumn Hacks is an Inclusive hackathon designed to encourage developers and problem solvers to build hacks that address global challenges and make this world a better place to live. 

Autumn Hacks is committed to accessibility and is open to any developer looking to learn, create and have fun! Prior programming experience is not a mandate. This event - including mini-events, swag, prizes - is entirely free to attend!

Eligibility

The Hackathon is open anybody starting from a budding developer to a seasoned professional. Teams are limited 4 members max.

All members of a participant team must meet all eligibility requirements or the participant’s team will be disqualified. If you don't have a team yet, search for other participants looking for a team in the "Participant(s)" tab and send them an invite. You will receive an email when others invite you to join the team. You can also use our Discord server to interact with other hackers and form a team.

FAQs
A project can be submitted to multiple tracks but would only win the prize(if eligible) for one of the tracks depending on the final score by the judges.

All hacks should be original and if found otherwise would be disqualified.

The project submitted should have their work started after the hackathon begins. The exception to this is the track: Old Hacks

Old Hacks Track

  • Hacks should have been submitted to a former hackathon(should have happened before 29th Oct 00:00 hrs)
  • The team participating in this hackathon should have at least member who was the project member at the hackathon it was formerly submitted
  • The same GitHub repo should be used which was used in the former hackathon
  • The project would be judges on the idea as a whole and also the additional features/improvements done over the weekend of Autumn Hacks.
  • Hacks submitted to this track cannot be submitted to other tracks

Final Project: Submission through DevPost with a demo video of 2 minutes

    Has this project been done before at hackathons in the past? How creative is their project in solving the problem at hand?
  • Completion
    How completed is your hack? Did the team achieve everything they had planned?
  • Design (UI/UX)
    Did the team put thought into the user experience? How well designed is the interface?
  • Feasibility/Viability
    Can this idea be implemented in the real world? How will users interact with gain information from the application?
  • Wow Factor
    Is your idea revolutionary and out of the box?
